We are joined by @Charles Tearle, Head of Watches from Lyon & Turnbull Auction House where he talks about their forthcoming watch auction on 21st November; his fascinating life via Somlo London, Bonham’s, Antiquorum, and Sotherby’s in America and Hong Kong; how a watch auction gets curated and how easy it is to participate; how technology will shape the future of watch auctions, and never forgetting your bidding paddle. This podcast wouldn’t have existed without their meets ups! In our 30+mins interview we talk about why they founded the club and how it is going, future trends to look out for in 2024/25, and their plans to take the club on tour.
