"About Effing Time" is what George, Adrian and Andrew hope their audience say at least once each episode. The three hosts knew each other virtually, but after meeting in person at Watches and Wonders 2022 and filming an impromptu YouTube video together, there was an instant camaraderie that has led to a follow-up podcast. The trio come from different backgrounds but have found common ground in their unending interest in and passion for watches. As well as taking the piss out of each other. Customer Reviews
Great watch content
Amazing to hear 3 industry insiders talking about the watch world. So many great opinions and perspectives. $5/mo is a steal.
Boot Bamford
Bamford is by far one of the loudest and most obnoxious guys in the watch space. A guy who was obviously born into privilege and struggles to relate his view of watches and the luxury space with the lay person. His obvious detachment and lack of awareness surrounding the circumstances that have allowed him to have such success are cringeworthy at times and outright conversation killing at others. Love his eye for design and his love for obscure watches, but his personality is sometimes just nauseating to feel through the screen.
Edit: After one and a half seasons of this show, I have to eat my words. Although Bamford can still be a bit too obnoxious for my taste, he’s grown on me more than I’d care to admit. He’s a great contrast to Adrian’s calm and ‘vanilla’ demeanor and his idiosyncrasies are in a way, charming. His eye for design is still world class and I’ve even started to look forward to his GB Talks episodes just to hear him wax on about watch design and aesthetics. Looking forward to more banter and watch talk in the coming episodes. Keep up the great work!
Links please!
Great show, but can you guys please provide links in the show notes to the watches you speak about? That would be lovely! Keep it up!
