Rebecca Peterson is a health educator, expert on self-doubt and board certified nurse practitioner. As a well-respected professional, she uses her extensive knowledge of health promotion and integrative wellness to assist individuals and groups to achieve their utmost joy, satisfaction and significance.
In this episode, we dive into why Rebecca Peterson wanted more for herself and what she did to change that. She started exploring gut health and insulin sensitivity and she quickly realized that the majority of what we experience in our body stems from the issues that occur within our gut.
She takes us through 4 different ways that we can go about healing our gut, number one being having a good probiotic, number two is making sure we have a good sleep routine, number three is to make sure we are consuming quality protein with every meal and number our is swapping out our simple sugars/carbs for healthy fats.
Rebecca utilizes her expertise in gut health and insulin sensitivity to help her patients in a way she couldn't before. She is an advocate for listening to her patients and knowing that no one knows their body better than their own self. She is very intentional with her days and discusses with us how we can be proactive vs. reactive in situations.
