Great podcast
3天前
I especially love the episode you recently did. The Sunday read. The alienation of Jaime cachua . I’m so glad you presented this episode and wrote in detail of what these immigrants are going through because of Trump and his ridiculous deportation goals. And how so many uneducated people voted for that moron not having any idea the damage he is going to do to our country. We are all immigrants here. The United States needs immigrants to continue being a successful country. And the worst thing a country can do is spread lies about its people and tear families apart. Keep up the good work of educating the Trump supporters on the damage they have done by voting for the worst person in the world to run our country.
Huge Fan - The Interview Format Must Change
5天前
Big fan of the podcast, a good launching point for deeper reading on current events. Michael and Sabrina are a must in my daily ritual. That being said, I am quite disappointed in Lulu Garcia-Navarro’s interview style. It’s unnecessarily antagonistic and forcibly inserts her views. Say what you will about JD Vance, but Rick Steves is about as PG granola as you can get - playing gotcha journalism on a figure like him just makes the interviewer look bad and prevents the audience from learning about the passions of the interviewee that we and they care about. I would recommend the NYTimes explore other interviewers or tell Lulu to adjust her style- we’re not getting anything out of it.

I think this is a great podcast, however the Sunday Read today was miserable because of the music!! I really wanted to hear the story of Jaime Cachua but was so mad that I had to struggle to hear the interview. Does anyone think we listen to the podcast for the music? How did this get put out to the public?
How Dare You!

How Dare You advertise Planned Parenthood before your interview with Jonathan Roumie, who portrays Jesus in the series “The Chosen”. My God, if you people so need your right to kill unborn children that you’re so blind to see your incredible insult to the dignity of human life, then you are truly lost souls. There are no aspects of human life that are considered worthless, especially when inside what should be one’s most safe and sacred environment, a Mother’s Womb. Contemplate on what the real Jesus, your Creator, thinks of your desire to kill those He has Created, His Children!
