Theology of the Body

I listened to the episode on raising daughters she was this toxic teachings. This was a very incite-full episode. As a catholic, I had no idea that the evangelicals taught sexuality this way. Which is such a skewed non-biblical view. I would suggest St. Pope John Paul’s teaching on the theology of the body. We teach our kiddos about mutual respect and the beauty of our bodies (men and women) and how God has a grand plan with sexuality to represent His love. Many of the author’s points are represented in his teaching. Give it a read.
Reformed but no where near confessional

Listened to a few episodes and was not super impressed. More research could be done and many topics don’t really seem to be from a reformed perspective.
Thankful for all this podcast has done

Man, I don’t know where I’d be without this podcast! Seriously! After being in a toxic and abusive church, this podcast has been so supportive in helping me move forward with my life and see that we made the right decision leaving. Knowing others have been through similar church experiences has been part of the healing process. I also love there tabo topics discussed that should be talked about instead of thrown out calling it “feminism” simply because we don’t want to talk about hard things we can’t actually support.
Hit and miss podcast

Some of the episodes are great, but some are quite questionable. It’s hard to tell where they stand theologically on some issues- it can get confusing.
