Key questions answered in today's show:
    1. Can a Christian get their faith back after losing it?
    2. Truthfulness is an important matter. No one wants to believe in something that is not true. How can we defend and proclaim the truthfulness of our Christian faith and the Bible?
    3. In 1 Corinthians 11:34–35, it says women must be silent in the churches. This verse just really bothered me when I first read it. I know Paul is speaking to the Corinthian church, but I was wondering if you could clear this up?
    4. When Christians die, do we remain “asleep” until the glorious return of our Savior, Jesus, or do we go to heaven to be with Him immediately upon our death? It seems to me like the Bible teaches both.
    5. As I was reading the book of Mark I noticed that it said 16:9–20 is not included in some of the earliest manuscripts. What do you think of this section? Is this an important piece of scripture that we must read?

Key questions answered in today's show:
    1. I have a couple of friends who say that Jesus has come to them and spoken to them in their dreams. Most recently, they said that Jesus came to them and said UFO’s were real and angel’s chariots. I kind of cringe any time I hear that. I wanted to know, what are your thoughts on Jesus coming to people in their dreams?
    2. As an introvert, I’ve actually enjoyed being at home more these days. I actually worry about when life goes back to normal because I don’t want to lose the joy and contentment I’ve been experiencing. Is this wrong?
    3. Is thinking about our Triune God as an egg Modalism? The egg, egg white, and shell are three separate things but still one egg, like how the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three separate things but all God. Is this a valid way of thinking or not?
    4. I asked Jesus Christ to be my savior a while back, but I can’t stop drinking, smoking, and cussing. I’ve tried everything. What can I do?

Key questions answered in today's show:
    1. What book do you recommend to best start a study on the book of Revelation?
    2. If God forgives all our sins when we put our faith in him, what about our future sins? Are they also forgiven?
    3. My question is from Matthew 11:19. It says the Pharisees called Jesus a glutton and a drunkard. So did Jesus actually get drunk, because why would someone call someone else a drunkard if he didn’t drink alcohol? And just to be clear I’m 100% Christian, my faith and hope are in Jesus Christ, I’m just asking from a secular point of view.
    4. Are Christians today called to perform the same miracles as the disciples did in the Scriptures? Preach the word, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, that kind of stuff.

Key questions answered in today's show:
    1. Did Old Testament believers experience the new birth? I mean, were they born again?
    2. I’ve dealt with pornography since I was probably 7 years old, and I can’t let it go. I want to. How can I? I’ve gone to God and asked for forgiveness more times than not. I need help. I call myself a Christian, but I can’t get past that, so I can’t move.
    3. I’m a high school teacher in Canada, and one of my goals is to treat my students as Jesus would treat them. One of the struggles I face is that I’m receiving some pressure to use gender pronouns that students would prefer. This means that students who identify as transgendered who are born with female anatomy might be asked to be referred to with the pronoun he or him. In the past, I’ve been taught that using pronouns that deviate from a male and female identity will ruin my Christian witness. How can I respond in a godly way to this issue, while still treating my students with love and respect? Do you have any advice for me?

Key questions answered in today's show:
    1. In Matthew 12, Jesus said that an evil and unfaithful generation asked for signs. But in the previous chapter, when John the Baptist doubted if Jesus was the Christ, why did Jesus point to his miraculous works? And why would he perform so many miracles if only the wicked and faithless desire them?
    2. Is there a doctrine or something that churches have that we can call or check online to see if they study or believe in the same way that we do, as each of us believes differently?
    3. What happens if I die before I’m baptized? Are there rules on who exactly can baptize you?
    4. I recently heard a sermon on justification and it mentioned the active obedience of Christ. I hadn’t heard the term before, but one of my friends said it wasn’t biblical but part of a man-made theology. Is there any biblical or historical evidence for this teaching?

    3. Is there a biblical basis for preferring that heads be bowed and eyes closed when praying? In corporate prayer, when asked, “Let us bow our heads in prayer,” is it disrespectful to instead raise one’s face heavenward (which is how I like to pray)?

Encouraged

I am so encouraged when I listen to Core Christianity. It has been such a blessing in so many ways.

I just listened to the broadcast from 6/30 and I have always wondered about secular music. I was saved later in life so I remember cutting it out completely because of what others had told me.

I am learning more and more as I grow to look to the Word more for answers.

And it encourages me to see that Brother Adriel and those apart of Core Christianity do their part in studying to answer our questions. 😊💕

Insectophile ,

Honest questions, honest answers

The range of questions asked is very wide. Great for the skeptic as well as the believer.
