There and Gone: South Street covers the case of Richard Petrone and Danielle Imbo. Richard and Danielle were last seen leaving a bar in Philadelphia only to never be seen again. Nearly two decades later, they have never been found. Unlike most cases, there is not a single piece of physical evidence. But the FBI knows there was foul play. In There and Gone: South Street, the podcast team opens their own investigation on Richard and Danielle’s case with unprecedented access and cooperation from the FBI. Listeners will also hear from the family of the missing, close friends who were the last to see Richard and Danielle as well as local law enforcement, who continue to be haunted by this case nearly two decades later. This podcast will seek to find answers to this decades long cold case in an effort to bring justice to Richard and Danielle’s families.

Good show overall

But has anyone thought about the potential of them just having crashed into a river or lake?
Lots of filler, and the hosts used a psychic

Tragic, fascinating story that on no planet needed 10 episodes to be told. As others have said, there’s so much filler here. Host interjects herself early and often with first person anecdotes and observations. Towards the end, she utilizes a psychic and is breathless with childlike wonder as the psychic does the usual psychic/carnival-barker gimmick; spoiler alert, just like every psychic in crime solving history before him, the guy doesn’t solve the case either. Grateful the podcast put the story on my radar. Feel awful for the families. Almost certainly was a random car jacking/murder or something arranged by the ex-husband.
Occum’s Razor

We are just going to gloss over the most likely scenario, that they accidentally drove into the water and drowned? I don’t remember hearing any real motive for a murder, let alone one involving a hitman or massive corruption and conspiracy involving many many people and a chop shop, yet that is the main focus. I found this podcast to be extremely repetitive and really just sensationalism and exploitation of the families’ pain.
Ok

The recapping every episode is unnecessary. Also, the description of Philly being an everybody knows everybody “town” is so false. There 1.5 million people in the CITY of Philly and we definitely don’t all know each other or know someone who knows someone, lol That’s more of a Philadelphia “neighborhood” thing.
