Great content but poor audio
For whatever reason, I have to crank the volume up just to listen to this. They need to modernize more than the English FA. That’s why I’m giving four rather than five stars.
Other than that, it’s generally great content. They have a thorough understanding of the game from almost all viewpoints. There is however, a distinct lack of understanding of the American model of sport and a openly secret loathing/jealousy of the strange stability of MLS.
The hosts also posses a romanticism for the days gone by of the Cup Winners Cup, old UEFA Cup, and the pre-social media days. I agree wholeheartedly with their sentiment.
Great!
Really great show. A pleasant and informative listen.
All in all - a great football/soccer podcast
I particularly love the deep-down looks at the history of football - both the big tournaments, but also some more obscure stuff. I agree that some of the editing/production could use a little bit of work, but for the most part - this is a great podcast for those who love soccer - especially the history.
