I created this podcast to empower and support other people like me who may have an experience of childhood trauma, may be supporting a child from trauma, or may have a child who doesn't fit inside the box at school whether they be due to a learning difficulty, dyslexia, or giftedness.

Welcome to my This is a Box podcast. I met an amazing early childhood recruitment specialist on LinkedIn who inspired me to finally take the plunge and release this podcast.
My name is Robyn and I come from an adverse childhood, full of mental health issues, fear, and a lack of emotional support. I want to use my adversity for good and turn my pain into purpose, so this podcast is designed to help us feel valued, loved, and supported.
I also want to support children who don't fit inside the box of the school curriculum as my son is gifted and sits at one end of the continuum while my cousin's child has dyslexia and sits at the opposite end of the continuum yet we can see how children feel frustrated by their learning and their brain sometimes.
