The human side of a musician

I have been able to relate to all of these wonderful topics that are kind of tabu for musicians and they shouldn't be! Mental and physical health, our human struggles, and the acceptance that we are all vulnerable. I really enjoyed the interview with Sara, because you two talked about how it is ok to like other stuff aside of music and how we can still translate our creativity to other activities and at the same time, apply them to music.
I am so excited to hear more episodes! This is so inspiring and I assure that most musicians can relate with the pressure of perfection and comparison. This is truly helpful!

Relatable with good perspective.

As a fellow musician and teacher I’ve struggled with inadequacy always asking myself “am I good enough?”. We so often compare ourselves to those more accomplished than us when really we are not being fair or realistic with ourselves. This podcast covers really important topics of common mental health struggles in our field I really like this perspective and look forward to future episodes.

Something Different

I didn't think I would need a podcast talking about the struggles of being a musician, but this one has definitely provided insight into the creative process. It also has helped in better understanding what we all go through when dealing with our self image. I reccommend giving it a try and look forward to more episodes.
