Good description of NB’s relationship to the revolution
The episodes that describe the revolution are insightful. They’re helping start to understand why we’re still fascinated by "the little corporal” two hundred years later.
A good podcast in preparation for vacation..
This was my go to podcast in preparation for my vacation to France. I visited Paris in college and I knew I missed a LOT of important context to the few sites I visited. Now, 20 years later, a little wiser, and not as starved, I wanted to be intentional about appreciating the sites and artifacts of this city and neighboring Versailles. This podcast allowed me to do just that. The painting Death of Marat had way more significance to me than if I had never learned about the history through this program. The Palace of Versailles had a whole new meaning to me.
Now that I’m back in the states I am glued to learning more.
Good Content, Poor Sound
I have been enjoying your podcast since the beginning, however I often have difficulty hearing what you are saying. Can you please record at a higher volume or figure that out the issue in the editing.
Thanks.
