Good evening, New York City! I'm your friendly neighborhood meteorologist with your latest forecast.

We've got a Wind Advisory in effect, so buckle up for some breezy conditions. Overnight, we're looking at a slight 20 percent chance of showers with temperatures holding steady around 54 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a south wind cruising around 14 miles per hour.

Thursday brings a quick morning shower possibility before things clear up. Temperatures will dip to around 48 degrees Fahrenheit by late afternoon, with west winds blowing between 10 to 18 miles per hour.

Hold onto your hats for Thursday night! We're talking partly cloudy skies with temperatures dropping to a chilly 35 degrees Fahrenheit. Wind chill will make it feel even cooler, between 25 and 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect northwest winds gusting up to 34 miles per hour.

Friday looks sunny but crisp, with a high near 48 degrees Fahrenheit. Wind chills will hover between 25 and 35 degrees early in the day, with west winds reaching up to 37 miles per hour.

The weekend preview looks pretty sweet mostly sunny on Saturday with a high near 46 degrees Fahrenheit, and Sunday following a similar pattern with temperatures around 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

Next week starts off mild, with temperatures climbing to 52 degrees Fahrenheit on Monday and potentially reaching a springlike 60 degrees on Tuesday.
