Welcome to TOO MUCH: A podcast for unapologetic women. We are Heather & Heather (aka Heather Rauh and Heather Rose Walters), two women who have been labeled 'too much' by too many for too long. We are here to embrace that label, and to celebrate anyone else who's been told they need to 'tone it down,' 'be nicer,' or play smaller, in order to make other people more comfortable. On this podcast, we discuss topics across the spectrum as they intersect with feminism (and we believe feminism must be intersectional!)
Whoever you are, wherever you're from, if you've ever been made to feel like you're 'too much'? Good for you. We're excited you're here.

    EP 11, End of 2020

    EP 11, End of 2020

The year is finally coming to a close, and for pretty much everyone across the world, it's been varying degrees of traumatic. We're all feeling it, and looking back over the year can feel rough. I don't know about you, but we definitely haven't accomplished everything we've set out to! The thing is, that's okay. Today we're talking about the importance of celebrating wins of all shapes and sizes; how do you cheer yourself on when trauma, stress, and self-criticism are all telling you the lie that you don't deserve celebration?

Ep10: Are You Afraid of Using the Word "Feminism"?

Ep10: Are You Afraid of Using the Word "Feminism"?

Ever thought to yourself, "I don't need feminism"? Or maybe, "Feminism is degrading to men"? What about, "Well, I respect feminists, but I don't personally identify as feminist. I just love the men in my life too much!" All of these statements are based on some misconceptions about the term that we want to clear up right now.

    EP08: Gender Roles 101

No, we're not living in the 50's anymore, and you might feel like you've never been forced to deal with gender roles. Buuuuuut we beg to differ -- yes, we've come a long way, but there are still some important things to be aware of. Gender roles, whether you realize it or not, are a part of your life at home and at work -- so how can we respond?

MegWesc ,

I feel so seen!

I’m so excited to continue listening to the Heathers explore how to live unapologetically! As a woman, and a woman of color at that, I’m more than familiar with feeling the need to apologize and keep myself “small” for others’ comfort (let’s be honest: men’s comfort!) I also applaud their commitment to inclusivity and intersectionality! Cheers to being Too Much!
