Todays guest is Bucknell University’s Women’s lacrosse head coach, Jackie Dando. Bucknell University competes at the division one level, in the prestigious patriot league, and has had a tradition of many strong athletic programs.
Building off of last episode, Cole and EJ wanted to continue the theme of navigating the college athletics process- and Coach Dando offers some great insight for the path that student athletes should be on if they want to pursue college athletics.
Some things discussed throughout this episode are:
· What characteristics coaches are looking at when recruiting athletes.
· The level of commitment it takes to play at the collegiate level.
· Advice for parents going through this process with their kids.
· The importance of academics….and many more.

Cole and EJ sit down to learn from Lebanon Valley Colleges career & development expert, Brynn Mason. Brynn is the director of the Breen Center for Graduate Success, and we talk all about the types of services/resources that a career development office has to offer, how you can utilize these services, when you are able to take advantage of the help their office provides, some tips for getting started with a resume, and many other things. The episode is wrapped up with some questions from the audience as well.
