A show about turtles, love, and lovin' turtles

Feel your ears tingle as Basem and Cranny attempt to do literally anything other than watch the classic teenage mutant ninja turtles cartoon. Be amazed as they turn right out of a poop joke and into oncoming traffic discussing hot topics that they handle surprisingly well. Excluding Basem’s take on vegetarians, which is just wrong. Also Church does some drugs and deserves a spin-off.

I've always been a fan of the ninja turtles and wasn't surprised to find a podcast where someone was working their way through the entire 1987 animated series. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed listening to Basem and Cranny talk about each episode. You get to hear where nostaligia meets reality as the guys pick apart each episode in detail, and you won't even mind the tangents, character voices, and improv comedy that comes along the way, making each discussion of a 22 minute cartoon take at least 90 minutes. One of my favorite podcasts.

Basem and Cranny have great chemistry and they're absolutely hilarious! The sound quality and editing are great, where most podcasts start out with poor audio quality, they come out of the gate with a professional quality. Their goofs make me crack up, especially when Cranny yells things like "They're disgusting ****ing sewer turtles!" Just the fact that they keep going back to the fact that "THEY LIVE IN THE SEWER!" makes me lose it. I can't recommend this podcast highly enough. They have an ongoing segment where they try out different weird pizzas that the Turtles eat, which is a great idea. The way they edit in quick sound bites makes me giggle every time. After one episode I was hooked. Seriously, add this to your list. - Sean from the "In Poor Taste" podcast
