Unexplained Arkansas The Podcast

I initially started listening because the content (quirky, strange or morbid Arkansan lore and history) isn’t necessarily easy to find in podcast format. That was in spite of the fact that I rarely listen to podcasts with more than a single host. While I know the host says she prefers not doing episodes solo, the recent solo episodes have led me to leave this review because to me this is what took it to being on the level of the podcasts I usually prefer.

It has the potential to be good, but they really need to work on providing more structure to the podcast, and to try to be concise. The tangents are a lot…Also, tighten up the research.

I love the local history and the personalities of the hosts. I’ve gotten so many ideas for spooky weekend trips from this show!

Ladies, please get your stuff together. This podcast has potential to be fantastic. If you’re only going to have one host, have one host. It sounds like you are on the phone, conferencing in your best friend. Learn how to edit out background noise and side commentary/tangents. If it’s not necessary to the story you’re telling, leave it on the editing room floor. I would love this show if it were more polished.
