In Episode 10 I sat down with Kevin Masundire who's another Vancouver-based content creator, to have a conversation about the things I wish I knew before I started university. We started out with 10 things but the list kept growing, so I think we're sitting at a comfortable 12 for now haha. I hope you take away some of these pointers and remember them as you go through university. It is an amazing chapter of one's life, full of adventure, challenges, and a whole lot of personal growth so I hope you find it to be as worthwhile as we did.

This week I'm onto another one of our lesser-known gems at SFU, the Sexual Violence Support and Prevention Office (SVSPO).

I invited Julie Glazier to come onto the pod and share more about how this department helps students, alumni and employees at Simon Fraser University. 

Keeping in mind that someone listening to this may have suffered from a form of sexual violence, I just want to let you know that we discussed the subject with utmost care and respect and did not go into details about any incidents, etc. But you are more than welcome to skip this week and check back in with us next week!

Created after SFU opened in 1967, the Simon Fraser Student Society has long established itself as the heartbeat of student life at all the SFU campuses.
