Winemakers tell the best stories. Life Between the Vines is a weekly podcast about wine, featuring interviews with those folks who walk the vineyards. These are the real people from all over the world that make wine happen. The growers, the vintners, the cellar rats. Wine shouldn't be scary. So listen in and hear the stories you'll hear nowhere else. You'll never drink wine the same way again.

Always enjoyable
I love listening to this. Ray is a good conversationalist, bringing people through the experience. The content is always fresh, and while I know there’s a script, it never comes across that way. I was especially touch by the emotional elements to episode #495. When that family shared their recognition of the richness of the legacy they are stewards over. It was a sweet moment.
Ray is fun to listen to!
I love this podcast because Ray does a great job of waking the line between interesting stories and great wine insights. He brings on guests who you can tell, love what they do!
Consistently good
Particularly liked the interview with Dave Petterson of Domaine de Broglie in Oregon. Lively repartee compared to some of the establishment stiffs.
