Great podcast!
I love listening to these podcasts while on my commute! Thanks for making the drive that much more enjoyable.
Culturally and politically uninformed and insensitive
Unbelievably one of your top 3 wines of 2022 was a highly controversial Psagot Merlot being produced illegally on occupied Palestinian land. Even the Isaeli govt condemned the takeover of private Palestinian land by Israeli settlers to produce this wine. The image of Claire Coppi riding around thoughtlessly in the owner’s Corvette is sad, uninformed and speaks to the lack of research done for this show. Take a page out of Anthony Bourdain’s playbook when visiting highly disputed areas such as the Middle East.
