Mariann Sullivan is a lawyer and teaches animal law at Cornell Law School. She has served as the chair of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial Insurance Practice Section’s Animal Law Committee and the NY Bar Association’s Committee on Legal Issues Pertaining to Animals. She is also the 2021 recipient of the Excellence in Animal Law: Scholarship-Teaching-Service Award from the American Association of Law Schools. In addition to co-hosting the award-winning, weekly Our Hen House podcast, Mariann hosts the Animal Law Podcast.

Writer and activist Jasmin Singer is the author of The VegNews Guide to Being a Fabulous Vegan (Hachette, 2020), the memoir Always Too Much and Never Enough (Berkley, 2016), and the editor of the anthology, Antiracism in Animal Advocacy (Lantern, 2021). She is Editor-at-Large (and former Senior Editor) for VegNews, as well as the host of the VegNews podcast. Jasmin is a host at WXXI — Rochester, NY’s NPR member station. Along with Mariann, Jasmin co-hosts the Our Hen House podcast.
