Hello, love the pod, Rachel if you see this the timing of a description written as penny was snatched from her “all American” home by her “immigrant” father feels pretty ick? Don’t want you to change the story but immigrants are in real Serious danger right now so if some one reads that description o feel like it further stigmatizes immigrants who are vital members of our communities. Thx for considering. Love this podcast and it’s good work.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while and just listened to the post election discussion. It was beautiful. To listen to young man from a high control group who’s only been out three years give a peptalk to others about the political situation was powerful. Love the show!

I LOVE this podcast. The episodes years ago about narcissism was so helpful in dealing with someone in my life who is narcissistic. But every week I enjoy listening

These interviews have taught me so much of how to spot controlling behaviors of people who claim to be helpful but are really exploitative. These exploitative people may be in a cult or not. Abusive people may be part of a group or one part of a couple. Also, these podcast interviews discuss how to build a life away from the exploitative life. I recommend this podcast to everyone because you will encounter people like this and/or you’ll be close to some who has fallen for the false claims.
