Waystation: A Lost Girl Fancast

The best mark of a good tv show commentary podcast is if you can enjoy listening without having seen the show! xD Waystation definitely hits that mark.

I would describe these hosts as likely very, very young with little knowledge of history, folklore, pop culture, or much else, but unfortunately further fitting the stereotype by always looking for what might be problematic. That in itself is a good thing but the show gets tedious because they have no other insights into the show besides “I liked that” “that’s problematic” while they do a detailed recap of the episode I just watched. They will repeatedly say how they didn’t get one reference or another, and yet they didn’t bother to try to look it up prior to making the episode. I’m glad they are fans of Lost Girl though.

I just found this podcast about a week or two ago and I’m devastated it’s ending before complete 🥺. I had never heard of this show until then and found it by searching multitude. I’ve been playing and listening chronologically then saw the latest update. Thank you for a great journey, maybe one day you’ll find time to finish this one out. -Hopeful Listener

I am so glad I found this podcast. I watched this series a few years ago and it’s nice to listen to kindred spirits nerd out about it. They understand the importance of Kenzie’s fashion choices, the lovely bisexual overtones, and Dyson’s brooding. Listen to this podcast and watch this show!
