16 Sammi: Birregurra, Budget 20-30,000, separate ceremony and reception, kids
In this episode I talk to Sammi who married her wife Caitie in Birregurra in March 2024 on a 40 degree day!
Sammi and Caitie had a small guest list for their ceremony, and then followed it up with a larger guest list for their reception. In this episode Sammi talks a lot about the conversation that they had before they started planning their wedding to make sure their values aligned and that they were both happy with what they were planning. She also talks about how she had conversations with guests who weren’t invited to the ceremony and how they worded it on their invites.

In this episode I talk to Megan who married her husband Lachy at the registry in Melbourne, with just their mums and Megan's stepdad.
They followed their ceremony up with a lunch in Melbourne and then went to a hotel to enjoy their cake and some bubbles!
This is a fantastic episode if you are considering having a registry wedding but aren't sure what to expect, or if you are tossing up the idea of bailing on your big wedding and doing this instead! I can't promise that Megan won't convince you to do it!

Luella shares some tips for budgeting - including her choice to not have a photographer! Her photos are stunning and you can feel the love of her family in them, so she has no regrets.

13 Kim: Sydney, Budget 30-50,000, DIY, Hamptons style
In this episode I talk to Kim who married her husband Justin in Sydney in February 2023. Kim talks about how she managed to plan her entire wedding in 6 months and managed to keep a low budget of around $30,000 which is a huge accomplishment in the city!
Kim got a lot of compliments from her wedding planning and so has gone on to launch her own wedding planning business called The Finery, and she talks about how she went about launching the business and what is included in it. This is really helpful for brides that have had similar thoughts after their wedding!
