HIST 104: United States History II
This course covers the history of persons and events that have contributed to life in America from the Civil War to the present. Topics include Reconstruction of the South; building of an industrialized America, 1865-1898; taming of the West; Spanish-American War; the Progressive Era of Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson; World War I; the Uncontrolled Twenties; the Great Depression; World War II; Rebuilding a Tired America, 1945-1961; the New America, 1961 to present. The podcasts are 20-30 minute pre-recorded audio supplements to the weekly learning module. In each podcast, I go over the lesson’s main points and expand them to include other information not necessarily included in the learning module, so that students may hear the information as it would be presented in a traditional classroom.

This podcast was excatly what I was looking for -- 30-40 minute episodes covering key aspects of US History. I love that it was audio and not video so it took up less space. I just saw that R. Moss offers other courses as well. I am going to go check those out. Again this podcast is incredible and highly recommended!
