162 episodes

Set 17 years after the main events of WE’RE ALIVE, GOLDRUSH is a recollection story that describes the efforts of the “soldiers” (Greg Muldoon, Anthony Robbins, Carl Thomas, and Samuel Puck) attempt a side mission to retrieve a suspected stash of gold bullion.

Told from the perspective of an aging Gen. Puck, he confides this previously undisclosed tale to the only surviving relation of his former team, Alex Robbins, the son of Puck’s friend Anthony. Over the course of ten episodes, the show will not only relate past tales of heroics, horror, and humor, but also sets the stage for future characters.

In Goldrush, fans will truly get to know these well-beloved characters characters on a much more emotionally satisfying level. Their humor and unique group dynamic certainly remain intact, and modeled after old Spaghetti Westerns, the story takes directions the series has not yet explored.

Filled with action, battles with the undead, love triangles, conflicting loyalties, and of course gold, WE’RE ALIVE: GOLDRUSH stands out as a truly unique Theater for the Mind experience for both new and old listeners.

Goldrush ... what is this?

I’ve listened to people talk about a script, watch a movie, play poker, go to a theme party (really?) ... there is nothing happening. I love We’re Alive and Lockdown but Goldrush so far is a yawn.

Fantastic start!

Almost done with season one and wow. Seriously blown away. This is a top tier production. Saw it mentioned in reviews on other podcasts, with rave reviews and I have not been disappointed. There’s so much this gets right. Like just listening I’m constantly like, uh huh, perfect. It’s so good. Podcasts are my #1 source of passive entertainment and I’ve listened to a lot. This is top 10 already. Maybe even top 5.
So far I’ve learned that colored people are THE WORST!
Ahem, colored zombies, I mean. XDloljk
I also must agree with an opinion of another reviewer however. The wamens so far have mostly, MOSTLY, save a few in some moments, have been really whiney and concerned with needless crap. Of course that’s my opinion. I’m no friggen feminist, and I HATE a Mary Sue, but it seems half the cast is more or less pigeonholed into an overly feminine stereotype. Maybe it’ll change, but I really don’t care all that much. It’s definitely not gonna stop me from listening. Cuz let’s face it, it’s prolly accurate, right?XD
Edit:Also “magazine” and “clip” are not interchangeable. Common mistake.
Edit: woah... 31-2... it was all fun and games and zombies up until that, boys and girls... season 3 has been a real kick in the nuts overall though. I don’t often hope for the happy ending but... dang.
Edit: alright, NOTHING has bugged me more than chapter 37.
“You lied and manipulated me into a mutually beneficial position!” Proceeds to lie and manipulate EVERYONE, especially 3 main people into a dangerous and unnecessary position out of SPITE. This must be something for a plot device later because realistically, most of this chapter would have had a lot of, “Uh, go F$&k yourself.”
Edit: Chp.42 “Hey guys we’re back from being alone outside fighting for survival to get revenge and also make EVERYONE safer.” Get treated like traitors.
Edit: And the crowd applauds! Best audio drama podcast I’ve heard, and I bet the best one out there, TBH. Every aspect was fantastic and next level. Usually I start to pick out flaws and hate something like this by the end but every step was amazing. Got me through a whole month of work, a move into my new apartment and a car crash. (I hope they can fix...) Voice acting was top notch too, surprisingly. The Hope character was a bit off, but that was it. Seriously well done. Now I gotta listen to the mini series, and then I get GOLDRUSH SON! I really picked a great time to find this huh? But if they are like this, I’m sure I’ll have a blast. 10/10, will listen again.
9/10 9:52 am: at work, checking podcast uploads.

10/8: THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER!🤣🤣🤣
This is the best podcast, show, drama, comedy...
Honestly, this is going down as one of my top 10 pieces of entertainment EVER in my life, across all mediums. Thank Christ for EVERYONE involved!
