In fact, one-third of all murders in America remain open. But thanks to dogged investigators and breakthroughs in forensic technology, these cases become part of the rare 1% of cold cases that are ever solved. Cold Case Files is hosted by Paula Barros.

Great podcast
I travel for work long hours on the highway, big fan of cold case files, forensic files, how it really happened etc. love the podcast it’s a great listen and always makes time fly by!!!!
How did they manage to make murder sooo boring?
Love the tv show, so I expected just the audio like Forensic Files. I’m sure the host has a list of qualifications and skills that I can only dream of having but narrating is not one of them. Mind numbingly boring and flat and not in a relaxing way. Most ppl here complain about the amount of ads, I don’t mind them It breaks up the droning.
Enjoy this while at work (edited)
This podcast is a lot of fun to listen to while I’m at work! I’m not a huge fan of the new host’s vernacular but she does a great job explaining the story. I do wish they would upload new episodes more often and post less sneak peaks at other shows, but I doubt the hosts have any control over that. Overall I really enjoy this podcast and seeing the crazy ways the families and victims are given justice is pretty cool.
Edit: I must say I’m unimpressed with the episodes of I Survived. If I wanted to listen to that show, I would subscribe to it. I want to hear about cold cases! And I’ll agree that since ownership changed, there are far too many ads for the length of the show :/
