This week, your favorite nerds dive back in (ew) to talk about how the experience of childbirth has changed in the last century.
First, Casie brings us through the 1930s, 40s, 50s, and 60s, discussing things like twilight sleep, men trying to control women's bodies (shocking right?) and finally the step by step process of the infamous Dr. L. Sarah then navigates from the 1970s to today, sharing some really depressing statistics and also educating us on how mothers have (finally) started to come back into the picture with their own childbirth experiences.

Laughs & Facts

I look forward to each episode because I know I’m not only walking away more knowledgeable, but I’m going to enjoy the hour I’m taking to myself. It never feels forced or drawn out and the little sidebars are always a great way to come back to our humanity and random thoughts. The ladies are personable and smart. A great listen, always.
