The focus of one of America's Leading Mid-Life Dating Coaches has expanded into a deeper, essential philosophy of what it truly means to LOVE.
After losing his 19-year-old son Connor in 2018, Jonathon Aslay’s grief led him on a soul-searching inner journey, where he became aware of an often-overlooked dimension of the dating conversation.
He realized that the process of dating reveals the most common emotional health issue faced by many singles seeking a partner: a distressing lack of self-worth, self-regard, and self-love.

3 Ways A Man Knows You're The One and He'll Commit For Good
3 Ways A Man Knows You’re The One and He’ll Commit For Good
When we have busy lives, we tend to take the good things for granted. But when you take someone for granted, you run the risk of them getting bored or feeling unappreciated. Ultimately you run the risk of them leaving.
This is where committed conversations are so valuable. Instead of sticking to the surface details of “how was your day,” get vulnerable and TELL your guy why you appreciate him. This type of communication is SO much more than simply saying, “Thanks for making dinner.” And if your guy is willing to get deeper, that’s a really good sign to keep having these conversations.
Let’s have a DEEPER conversation about how to have deep, committed conversations so no one feels unappreciated or disrespected.

Can A Man Change Or Is Our Relationship Doomed?
Can A Man Change Or Is Our Relationship Doomed?
Have you heard of this saying:
“Men marry women hoping they DON’T change and women marry men hoping they DO change.”
I don’t really know how or when this saying originated but I wonder why men and women fall into this trap. Of course, people change over time. It’s inevitable as humans. But is it really our responsibility to force change on someone? Or to criticize any changes that occur?
Let’s have a DEEPER conversation about what it takes to go ‘all in’ with a relationship and how to work through differences.

Why Modern Dating Needs A Makeover with Jillian Turecki
Why Modern Dating Needs A Makeover with Jillian Turecki
While it’s a good thing that being in therapy is becoming more socially accepted, someone who is in therapy does not always equal the perfect relationship choice. Just like doing personal development work does not guarantee becoming a well-adjusted person.
Therapy and personal development have become crutches to some extent, like a green flag that this is a person worth dating because they’re doing the work. But there are plenty of well-adjusted men (and women) who had wonderful upbringings and have never set foot in a therapist’s office…does that make them unworthy of a date?
Let’s have a DEEPER conversation about why we rely so much on “therapy” and “personal development” as barometers for good dating prospects.

How to Express Your Feeling without Scaring Him Away
How to Express Your Feelings without Scaring Him Away
I’ve lost count of the times women have told me they are afraid to speak their true feelings because of how their guy will react. Instead of jumping to the idea that this guy must be a horrible human or that she’s a little mouse, let’s look at this from the perspective of how self-love can help her gain the confidence to speak what’s on her mind.
If you feel like certain topics are off limits in your relationship, I invite you to think about why this is the case. Is this relationship fulfilling and loving…even if you don’t use your voice? Is this relationship a true partnership…even if you keep things to yourself?
How can you work on YOU so you gain the confidence to have tough conversations with your partner?
Let’s have a DEEPER conversation about how to gain confidence when it comes to open communication and why certain topics make you clam up.

Self- Love before Seeking Love
I’ve been an avid listener for a long time. I’ve followed Jonathon’s advice with a great book collection and resources to help me break the self sabotaging behavior when seeking companionship. He’s very transparent and even shares his personal struggles as lessons for healing or growing.
He’s the author of a great book to start with: WHAT THE HECK IS SELF-Love Anyway.
It’s a great place to start your journey and his show is a great listen to Learn. Thanks Jonathon Aslay!
This podcast is GOLD if you’re dating!
Jonathon has done so much research and has also had his own dating and relationship experience, and has been so helpful to me personally. I also love his book recommendations as well as his guests who are experts in this area. Thank you, Jonathon!
Discernment
Many of us only have a little time to do anything especially focus on the fine details. Diving in deep and analyzing classifying and identifying behavior related to relationships seems like it should be innate however we haven’t even learned what they are! Im done winging it and hoping it’ll last - so far it doesn’t! Thanks to Jonathan we can do this easily! He’s going to point out all of the things you need to keep an eye out for and then give us tips to set up a great relationship. The best part is he serves it up with a dash of funny and a pinch of raunchy! It’s a fun listen, all of his podcasts are! Highly recommend
