During the week they live the daily grind of working busy careers, parenting kids, and keeping each other on the right side of sanity. Sometimes they have to remember to take a deep breath and just ask the other “What’s Happening, Honey?” We’ve all been there right? Crazy week with horrible deliverables at work, while the daycare calls about one kid coughing and the school calls about the other’s laptop charger that’s been lost… and you feel like you see your partner in crime for an hour or so a week? This is our weekly hang trying to get a reaction out of each other.
“What’s Happening, Honey?”, is a weekly show hosted by a usually happy couple (though one of us can get fairly grumpy at times and generally has a dark sense of humor). We’ll catch up on everything we have going on as well as try to get a rise out of each other. Join us every week, as we unwind and we can all get a little distracted from our harsh realities. Ep. #074 - Happy birthday to our oldest monster! There are some woes my wife is working through this year, but we're getting through it. We have a small in house jiujitsu tournament... and the competition was fierce. Monitoring what your kids watch and consume now vs. when we were growing up. I am handed a sketchy "mocktail"... and I guess we'll see how the night goes!

Ep. #073 - An odd and annoying weekend... and my first near fight in close to a decade training, so I tried disc golf to relax. We want to start using the Cartman "Respect my authoritay" as a sound byte. We discuss irrational fears we had as kids. Miami mall incident with alines, but I'm skeptical about it. Police scanners blocked, air travel blocked. One of our favorite comedians, Joe Koy, bombed in front of the worst most pretentious crowd ever (crazy, but he's hilarious anyway). Bodies found behind prison Mississippi. And we get ready for hopefully a more normal weekend.

What’s Happening, Honey? | Ep. #72 | Kinda ”Crappy” Vacation... But Happy 2024!
Ep. #072 - We've been gone the past couple of weeks on vacation and holidays, but we're back to kick off 2024. We chat about our trip to New Jersey, taking the kids to an indoor playground, an Asian buffet, and the stomach bug chronicles that may or may not have cause a couple of skidmarks on the vacation. Traveling with kids always brings some good stories, like one kid getting pissed off about 6 hours into a drive because she didn't have a second birthday... Anyway, happy 2024 and let's get this thing rolling!
