    Inner Spring: Honouring The Maiden

    Inner Spring: Honouring The Maiden

Part two of our mini cycle phase deep dive series, this time about the second phase of your cycle, your pre-ovulation phase. Once your bleed ends and you feel yourself returning from your moon cave, your hormones rise and with that comes a potential for greater creativity, playfulness, planning and action. It can also bring one of two shadow aspects that I see mostly in the women I support: either a resistance to emerging back into the world, having not felt rested enough during your bleed, or, an urge to come racing back, going too hard too soon.

This phase is a beautiful mirror for the season of Spring, and of your inner Maiden archetype. Your Maiden can have youthful exuberance, hope and blind optimism, She can also struggle to know her place in the world. Often, challenges here hark back to your menarche, your first bleed, and are an echo of how toy experienced your early years. Doing some inner work to look back at your maiden years can bring profound healing, an opportunity to transform, and change the life path ahead of you. Not just for yourself but for your children and their children too.

    In this episode I share:
What’s happening on a biological level during this phaseWhat your natural energies may beMore about the common challenges I see in my clients hereHow this connects to your maidenAnd I introduce my new online journey where you’re invited to dive into your maiden and menarche experiences, to bring light, warmth, healing and a new relationship to your womb and rites of passage journey ahead of you.
I’d love to know how this lands with you! What were your AHA moments? How can you honour your pre-ovulation needs and playfulness  just a fraction more? Is your inner Maiden calling you to witness her more fully?

    The Sacred Art of Menstruation

    The Sacred Art of Menstruation

In the first of a mini four part series within the podcast I'm taking you deep into the four seasons of the menstrual cycle so you can connect with the sacred, spiritual and energetic opportunities available to us within each phase.
In this solo episode, I share with you how to devote to the sacred art of menstruation.

The first phase of a new cycle is your menstrual phase, also known as your Inner Winter.  From the way your hormones draw you inwards for introspection, offering up greater sensitivity, and inviting you to treat each new cycle as its own potent mini cycle of growth and release, you'll be guided to surrender to the power of your period.
And if you are someone who seriously struggles with this time of the month - or the idea of letting go, slowing down, and resting - this will be an episode you'll find illuminating as I offer up some powerful questions to reveal what's stopping you from going with the flow.
Please share with me! What does this bring up for you? What were your AHA moments? How can you honour your bleed just a fraction more?

Connecting To Your Womb Through Embodiment

Connecting To Your Womb Through Embodiment

Your womb is a beautiful muscle that contracts and releases each cycle, and of course the place where new life is created and grown - but its so much more than that too.

A powerful energetic centre at your sacral chakra, your womb space in your pelvic bowl is the origin of your Feminine intuition that holds so much of your deepest inner knowing and truth. It’s the source of creativity (both babies and sacred creations), and a place where your cyclic nature manifests through your menstrual cycle. It’s also a portal to your lineage past, present and future, as well as a place where so much wounding, shame, crossed boundaries and grief is held too.

How you feel about your womb is very indicative of how you feel about being a cyclic person today.
For many women today, the idea of connecting to your physical and energetic womb space is pretty strange, woo woo or difficult to imagine doing. And yet when we become aware of our body and build a relationship with this sacred part of us, we can acknowledge any emotions held there and begin to release them, so that your inner wild feminine powers may be revealed and amplified.
In this episode I share with you why you might want to connect to your womb space, what can be achieved through regular practice, and a variety of rituals to help you do this - whether you’re brand new and unsure of how to do this, or confident and looking for more there is something here for you.
If this episode lands with you, let me know! Your feedback, questions and aha moments help me create episodes that serve you, so drop me a message on Instagram or leave a review or rating!
If you love this kind of content, you're also invited to come and join my brand new free community - the Wild Flow Circle. Pelvic Steaming For Menstrual Health with Toyah Hicks

Pelvic Steaming For Menstrual Health with Toyah Hicks

After I tried womb steaming for the first time this year in a group on a women's retreat, I realised I had a layer of shame around the idea of tending to the health of my vagina through steaming in public. However the experience was profound: enjoyable, spiritual, and pleasurable. It opened a door to something new for me.

Recently, I took the step of purchasing myself a steam stool and had my first at-home steam, which was divine. My curiosity piqued - and many of my instagram community wanting to learn more too, I invited Toyah Hicks to share with the what pelvic steaming is, why you might want to try it, and how to do it. Toyah also shared how steaming supports menstrual health, supported her conscious conception, and how she connects to her intuition and ancestors through the practice.

I would love to hear whether you're a regular steamer or are considering trying this for the first time!! Drop me a comment here, or send me a DM on Instagram to join the conversation!

Embodying the Enchantress Archetype with Claire Baker

Embodying the Enchantress Archetype with Claire Baker

This is one of my favourite episodes. Juicy, rich, evocative, inspiring and nurturing all in one. I chatted with my mentor and friend Claire Baker, Women's Coach and Menstrual Cycle Awareness Teacher to share our love of the Enchantress Archetype, and as I put it, "she's kind of a vibe we want to be calling into our businesses".

    We flowed through topics from:
Who is the Enchantress - what does she mean to both of us, Why we would want her energy to support us to lead in our business,How we can call on her,Examples of how the healthy, mature Feminine aspect shows up versus the immature Maiden aspect,What Feminist business practices are, and how this helps to heal the Sisterhood, and Sister Wounds. How to honour your sacred creativity, and how to collaborate and empower yourself and other women around you, And we touch on what its like to work with other women who are at different points in their cycle to you. Get this juice in your ears, and if you love it (I know you will!) be sure to share it with a sister, business bestie, cycle awareness devotee or someone who you'd love to tune in.

And if you love it I would be so grateful if you'd like to leave a rating or review to support this podcast to reach more women who need to remember this ancient wisdom, thank you!

Healing a Broken Motherline by exploring your Rites of Passage with Rowena Hobbins

Healing a Broken Motherline by exploring your Rites of Passage with Rowena Hobbins

I chatted with dear friend of mine, women's Life Coach, Sacred Circle Facilitator, Intuitive Healer and First Moon Circle Facilitator Rowena Hobbins @raising_up_ all about her own female lineage and how this has affected her own birth, the birth of her children.

As a woman from a disconnected motherline due to adoption, Rowena has felt the echoes of her mother's birth, and her own birth play out in the rites of passages she has lived through including her first bleed, and the births of her three children.

Rowena shares how she has recently reconnected with her womb cycle, intuition, ancestors and Feminine power through understanding how the rites of passages shape and rebirth us, and how she has channelled this wisdom into the work she does now to support women in their own matrescence - the journey of raising yourself as a Mother.

This is a heartfelt conversation touching on birth stories, adoption, raising girls, tending to our own inner child, and the wounds we acquire along the way - and how if we are conscious of what's at play here, we can heal our wounds not just for ourselves, but our lineage past and future.

Tune in on Apple or Spotify and share with your loved women in your life, especially those newer to motherhood.
