    5. Your Community and Your Wellbeing

    5. Your Community and Your Wellbeing

I’m very passionate about building and maintaining community as I share in the episode so I wanted to explore the relationship between our relationships and our general wellbeing. You also hear from some of my friends who share what community means to them and the benefits they derive from maintaining these relationships.

“But many of us seek community solely to escape the fear of being alone. Knowing how to be solitary is central to the art of loving. When we can be alone, we can be with others without using them as a means of escape.” ― bell hooks

    4. "Superwomaning" with Mary Onyarin (Godly Queening)

    4. "Superwomaning" with Mary Onyarin (Godly Queening)

My friend Mary came to my city for a few days and we got into an interesting conversation about juggling multiple activities, feeling like we're superhuman and burning out. As women, it may be a tendency to be superwoman and while there's nothing wrong with that, we talk about learning to identify our limits so we don't carry the the world on our shoulders and forget to take care of ourselves. She shared so many gems that I thought it would be great to have her on the podcast. In all honesty, she encouraged me to start the podcast when I had doubts and offered to record an episode with me. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed recording it.
