S2 E5 - Dumb As Rocks
Well this one is a bunch of nonsense. Not that I blame Steph, she obviously knows her stuff, and that's why we pay her the big bucks, but having this dim witted gentle giant on the show to make a few extra bucks as a "paid guest" is a little bit ridiculous. We decided to use this recording to train the interns. The writers and sound team, publishers and producers and Steph our newest director of sound took a tiny step back as the new team of 7 interns took a shot. Let's see how they do.

Well there's been a lot of Silence from us lately. I've had thousands of emails and messages from our fans around the world (literally) asking why the silence. well.. This should explain it. New job, Big Move, closing down the studio and reopening in MUSKOKA!!! Not only are we not closing down Wood Enthusiasts, it's just the opposite. Larry and Gary are moving closer together so we can amp up the Webseries and the PodCast. Also we introduce a NEW CHARACTER as part of our regular show!

To take a topic that’s over looked and make it into a show that’s an accomplishment. To take it and make it entertaining and funny, that’s something out of this world. I highly recommend this podcast!
Unique humor with unique guys
Funny. Informative. Easy listening. I can listen while working, be entertained & learn something. Often, I find myself jotting down something on a sticky note - whether it’s a useful tip or a joke to attempt on other unwitting fools in my life.
Elaborate, funny joke
If you hadn't guessed yet, this is a joke podcast, which also has a YouTube channel, about wood-lovers who overenthusiastically discuss wood. You'd think this absurd premise would wear thin, but just when a topic starts to run dry, host Larry Woodstone rudely cuts someone off and moves onto the next absurd segment. Over time, the episodes weave an amusing lore behind these strange characters and their obsession with wood and wood-based products. Everything somehow works, from Woodstone's energetic lispy repetition to Gary's terse stances on topics like hard wood versus soft wood. It's all so wonderfully weird.
