    Squid Game 2 Review: THE EPIC STORY IS BACK

    This is for all the fans of Squid Game! Christina & Nas (from the Swoon Diaries Podcast) join forces to talk about this incredible show. Did they both binge it the day season two came out? Yes, yes they did and guess what? NO REGRETS. (I think the only regret is that season three comes out later this year…). The first Squid Game came out in 2022 and became a global phenomenon overnight. Three years later, our lead Ji-Hoon is back and this story definitely continues to pull at everyone’s heart strings, makes you want to scream at the screen, and cover your eyes ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Christina and Nas discuss plot points, all the new characters (so many favorities!!), and why this remains to be a show with such a unique way to tell a story.  Squid Game is available on Netflix.     Love Scout Review: WE HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT MAN

    Every single woman needs to have a SCOUT DADDY in their life. How is Eun-Ho so perfect? Eun-Ho is a wonderful father, great employee, has a strong work ethic, is a WONDERFUL chef and absolutely loves Ji-Yoon with all of his heart. WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR?  In this review, the ladies dissect the events in episodes 3 through 12. They GUSH over all the swoony moments between the leads and with Byeol (she is the cutest daughter EVER). They continue to talk about how Eun-Ho is the perfect man and how he has set the standard way too high. Does this male lead have any flaws? Asking for a friend.  Love Scout is a modern workplace romance where the leads are completely reversed in the roles that they are playing (which was such a strong suit for the show). This drama was refreshing to see and the ladies really wanted to see more of the main couple because they were SO CUTE. Love Scout is a 12-episode drama available on Viki. .....     MERMAID SHOW MIDWAY .... Sooooo we like this more than we thought we were gonna. Is it still unserious? Yah. But we're in love with Mermaid Girl and forever falling for Lee Minho's charm. ..... Basically, Mermaid loves Lee Minho (understandable). Mermaid needs Lee Minho to love her back so that her heart won't stop beating (yikes). Jinyoung plays baby Lee Minho (COME AND GET IT - GOT7 YALLLL). Overall, great television. .... Enjoy this midway review of The Legend of the Blue Sea: EPISODES 3 - 10! .....     WE HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT MAN. I repeat. We have found the perfect. man. ..... Christina, Elle and Maddie have decided they probably should stop watching this show because this male lead isn't real and very much written by a woman and no real man will ever live up to this standard but YOU BETTER BELIEVE WE GONNA KEEP WATCHING THIS SHOW. .... Love Scout is a romantic comedy, airing weekly on Viki this January. It's about a messy, hurting CEO and her hot, organized, hot, personable, motivated, very very hot secretary. They're gonna fall in love and that's pretty much it and this is what makes KDramas great. .... The girls talk through the first two episodes of Love Scout and try to convince you to watch with them (it's not hard to convince anyone with this drama). .....
