Teresa Lee: I Was Born with A Broken Heart
It's Teresa Lee's birthday week, which means solo confession time! This episode, Teresa drops a big personal bomb - she talks about her congenital heart disease and how 2020's pandemic and lockdown brought some repressed PTSD and body trauma back to the surface that she was able to connect through a deep dive into her childhood medical history. She shares the echoes of her surgery trauma that continued into adulthood, and how she had no idea how embedded her fears and insecurities from early childhood had become in her adult relationships until she faced her past through trauma therapy. It’s always interesting to learn more about people
It’s so easy to think you know everything there is about someone based on their public persona, this show, while sometimes silly, really gives you insight into the fact that people have layers and I love it for that
