Amazon KDP Terminated My Account and Deleted My Book. Here's What I Did!

As a self published author, not having your book available to buy on Amazon is a big problem. After five years since Rise of the Youpreneur was first shared with the world, Chris received an email from Amazon KDP informing him that they would be terminating his account... for no reason at all.

After digging around online, trying to make sense of the situation, Chris soon realized that this has happened to a lot of self published authors. In this episode, Chris walks through the timeline from first being notified to the current status of his appeal, what he’s done to stay proactive, and why he’s thankful to have built his business on his online home that he owns, and not rented land.

Great insights, great guests!

I listened to the recent episode with Jen Gottlieb and it had some great insights on how to grow your business and increase exposure. This episode is so applicable to a wide audience! As a small business owner, forecasting revenue and developing our sales pitches is top of mind in order to expand my business and be as efficient as possible and this episode gave me ideas on how to implement some of the best practices mentioned - namely Jen’s ‘Top 20 Tool’ exercise to get anything you want in 20 days - to drive leads, conversions, and revenue. Chris did a great job personalizing Jen’s experiences and expertise as a leader to be applicable for your listeners - a true testament to his hosting.
