What if I told you that every time you said "I don't have time for this" what you're really doing is making an excuse to avoid something that in fact you don't really want to do.

When we say: "I don't have time" what we really mean is:
    I don't want to
    I'm afraid to
    I don't think I can

In this episode we talk about time and how it relates to our values. You'll learn how to get clear on your values, align your time to your values, and stop using the "I don't have time" excuse.

    93. How to create authentic self-confidence and move away from feeling like you're not enough

    How do you create self-confidence?

We often think we create self-confidence by getting another degree, certificate, or training. But, true authentic confidence is built authentically.

In this episode, we discuss why insecurity and self-doubt are second nature for women, and how to cultivate true authentic self-confidence, that no degree or title can ever give you, and no person can ever take away.

    92. Achieve Every Goal You Set Part 3: How to stop procrastinating and start taking action

You know how excited you get at the beginning of every year when it's time to set a New Year's resolution.
You think to yourself, this year is finally the year that it's going to happen. I'm finally going to lose the weight, or train for that marathon, or change jobs.
    Then what happens?
A few weeks go by, and you slowly start to lose motivation. Then you slowly start to quit, and next thing you know, you're back to where you started.
If this is you, it's okay, you're not alone.
Most people start to slowly quit on their goals about 20 days in.
But, as you know, there's nothing unique about January 1st and goal setting.
You can choose a goal and achieve it anytime of the year.
If you want to create a fool-proof plan to achieve any goal you set, then you've got to listen to my 3 part podcast series: Achieving Every Goal You Set:
    In Part 1 you'll learn:
How to choose the right type of goal for you
    In Part 2 you'll learn:
The three things you need to achieve every goal you set
    In part 3 you'll learn:
How to stop procrastinating and start taking action towards your goals

Vanessa’s down to earth, inspired approach leaves me feeling grounded, calm, and ready to tackle issues. Thank you for walking me through life!

Thank you, Dr Calderon!

Last night I showed up in theER at a large Hospital in my area for the first time. Normally I went to a more local, smaller hospital…but was looking for hopefully better quality care, instead of just prescription meds. After nearly a 5 hr wait, I was blessed to meet her as my Care provider and what a blessing she was for me! I mentioned needing more resilience and she instructed me in breathing to improve brain neuroplasticity, among other concerns I had. I began this morning - with every 2 hours - and I can tell it’s making a difference in my calmness and presence. I’m not a Latina woman, and am a retired special education teacher, who listened just now for the first time to her podcast. I actually incorporate several of her practices into my life, already. I believe and trust what she shared last night and will be following her regularly! I highly recommend her! Many thanks, Dr. Calderon!
