    152. How to Practice Mind Yoga for a More Determined and Resilient Mind

    152. How to Practice Mind Yoga for a More Determined and Resilient Mind

What I have learned (and honestly, keep learning over and over again) that no matter how bad you want something or how committed you are to make it happen you will likely still doubt yourself, feel discouraged, and maybe even quit.

This is true in almost any aspect of your life, especially if what you want is wildly different from what you experienced growing up.

So, how do you ensure you don't quit when it get's hard or uncomfortable?

This week on the podcast I teach you a special mind trick that will help you keep going, even when you're brain is telling you to quit.

It helped me create generational wealth (and be the first women in my ancestral line to do so).

It helped me create a beautifully intimate and safe marriage (another first).

And, it continues to help me be in service to the world in big ways that require me to continue to put myself out there in scary ways.

I want to help you do the same thing.

Because when women and people of color break generational cycles of trauma, poverty and pain, they empower not just themselves but the generations that follow them to do the same.

This is how we start to change the tide and create a world that's more inclusive, compassionate and equitable.

    151. How to Cultivate the Relationship With the Person You Spend the Most Amount of Time With

Who is the person in your life you will spend the most amount of time with?

The person you will have the most conversations with.
The person you will spend the most amount of alone time with.
The person who will be with you from the moment you take your first breath, to the second you take your last.

    That person is you.

In fact, the relationship you have with yourself will be the jumping off point for everything else you want to create in the world.

On this weeks podcast, we talk about the importance of cultivating the most important relationship you will ever have, the relationship you have with yourself. I teach you simple and innovative ways to start doing this right now, without it being complicated or feeling like another thing I have to do.

Trust me, you're life will transform when you start just practicing one of these things.

Take listen and share it with someone you think may benefit.

    149. Journey to Authenticity: How a mom of 3 and an entrepreneur overcame procrastination and imposter syndrome to create the business and life of her dreams

    149. Journey to Authenticity: How a mom of 3 and an entrepreneur overcame procrastination and imposter syndrome to create the business and life of her dreams

My student, Noura, is an immigrant and a mom of 3 (including a newborn), who had really big aspirations.

She's a registered dietician, works clinically with patients, and also started her own business using her dietician skills to help more people.

She has an innate drive to learn and continually improve, which is what brought her to my program, The Journey.

She was struggling with procrastination which would lead to her never finishing her clinical notes on time, but would also get in the way of the success in her business.

Her imposter syndrome was also eating her up inside and she hated knowing how this was limiting her potential.

So Noura joined The Journey. After just a few coaching calls she started noticing big changes. She was finishing her charting at work and coming home on time, with enough energy to spend time with her kids. Her parenting had transformed. She was now more present with her kids (including her newborn). And, she made big changes in her business that helped her connect and help her clients at a deeper level.

Noura is now living a life of intention and purpose. On this week's podcast episode, Noura shares how she, as a mom of three struggling with procrastination and imposter syndrome, created the life and business of her dreams.

    148. Why You Quit on Your Goals, and How to Recommit (so that you achieve your goals and your truest desires)

    148. Why You Quit on Your Goals, and How to Recommit (so that you achieve your goals and your truest desires)

Turns out there’s a way to achieve your goal without it having to be hard, overwhelming or anxiety provoking.

And, I want to teach you how.

Because when you achieve the goals you set, it opens you up to continue to pursue your deepest desires, and when you do this over and over again, you create an authentic life you can be proud of.

On this week's podcast, I teach you what's really behind the reasons you tend to quit on your goals (it's not as obvious as you think), and exactly what to do to recommit and achieve your goals.

    I also teach you

The subtle reasons you start to quit on your goals (it's not as obvious as you think).
What happens to your brain when you choose to recommit.
How to have the discipline to take consistent action without being hard on yourself.

    147. The Science of Manifestation and how to use it to create your goals

    147. The Science of Manifestation and how to use it to create your goals

The practice of manifestation has been around for centuries, in fact it's been recorded as a cosmic law (kind of like gravity… it's always been around - even before people believed in it - you can't see it, but you know it's there).

You don't need to know the science to practice it, but the science behind it is super cool (okay, I'm a scientist and a huge nerd, so I may be a bit biased).

On this week's podcast, I break down the science of manifestation, in a clear and simple to understand way.

And, I’ll teach you my exact practice to manifest all my goals.

Thank you, Dr Calderon!

Last night I showed up in theER at a large Hospital in my area for the first time. Normally I went to a more local, smaller hospital…but was looking for hopefully better quality care, instead of just prescription meds. After nearly a 5 hr wait, I was blessed to meet her as my Care provider and what a blessing she was for me! I mentioned needing more resilience and she instructed me in breathing to improve brain neuroplasticity, among other concerns I had. I began this morning - with every 2 hours - and I can tell it’s making a difference in my calmness and presence. I’m not a Latina woman, and am a retired special education teacher, who listened just now for the first time to her podcast. I actually incorporate several of her practices into my life, already. I believe and trust what she shared last night and will be following her regularly! I highly recommend her! Many thanks, Dr. Calderon!
