“A bitch, a mean girl, a bully”… There’s not many names Katie hasn’t been called. “You’re Gonna Love Me” is a podcast that’s going to open the eyes, the ears, and the hearts, of anyone who has judged or been judged (hopefully). She’ll be talking to plenty of familiar faces, including those who have thrown some shade, spent time in the shade, or just enjoy the shade. After all this a conversation that involves everybody. Why do we judge, what is the criteria for who gets to judge and why. None of us are perfect, we’re all just human, So let’s spend a little less time judging, and a little more time loving.

Make Your Life A Rom-Com with Tom Schwartz

Make Your Life A Rom-Com with Tom Schwartz

This week Katie is joined by her Bub, Tom Schwartz. The two break down social media tropes that annoy them, Katie can’t understand the Island Boys or what they are saying. In other news it’s Christmas time in the Maloney-Schwartz household! The stockings are hung, Christmas movies are in full swing and the trees are lit with the most epic Twinkly lights. Tom even climbed atop a questionable ladder to hang lights on their house- which caused some bickering between the two. Katie and Tom are feeling the love after 11 years together and are sharing how they keep the romance alive. They agree that couples should be the stars of their own movie of life and that movie is a romantic comedy! Being spontaneous, planning a trip together to the favorite getaway. Tom is adamant that having new experiences with his partner has kept the romance going strong. The two also share that leaving handwritten loves notes, supporting each other’s interest and time apart are a big reason they are able to stay madly in love. Tom caps it off with a heated rage text to the absence of light beer in his outings… bar owners beware!

Clearing the Air with Charli Burnett

Clearing the Air with Charli Burnett

In today’s episode Katie chats with friend and cast-mate Charli Burnett. Charli fills Katie in on the bikini body building competition she recently took part in, the bunion surgery that led her there, and what goes into prepping for a competition. We find out what she had to eat in a day, how to spice your meals up when eating the same thing again and again, and how difficult it was not to be able to drink through it all.  The ladies dig into trauma around food, disordered eating, and just how different that can look for different people. Katie asks Charli about the infamous pasta makes you fat comment, why she said it, and the aftermath of the situation. Charli explains her thinking that if you don’t share everything about you, then you’re protecting yourself. She found out that when you open up about who you really are, even if only one person can connect with that and are left feeling less alone, it’s worth it. Katie learns what one thing people would be surprised to know about Charli is, and the two share their mutual experiences growing up in a small town. They close things out with the rage text of the day, and let’s just say, clout doesn’t pay the bills.

    It’s Hygge Season Baby!

    It’s Hygge Season Baby!

Katie is flying solo this week! She kicks things off with a little bit of Vander-talk and weighs in on what’s been going on during this season, including the all too polarizing Lala vs. Brock situation. Katie reminds us that everyone is imperfect and flawed, but they care about each other and are coming from a place of genuine concern. She touches on her and Tom’s fertility journey, their past, and wanting to be more open about that process. It can be such an isolating experience, and we should be able to talk about it and normalize it so it doesn’t feel so lonely. Switching gears, Katie dives into her favorite season of the year. Fall. We learn the meaning of Hygge and why Katie is ALL about it. She shares her favorite fall drinks, how she sets the mood for fall in her house and asks some of the season’s hard hitting questions. What is a cider mill? When is it the right time to start decorating for Christmas? How early can you start watching holiday movies? The bottom line is, we should squeeze as much joy out of this time as possible, especially after the last two years. And lastly friends, some important advice to remember, don’t forget to trim your wicks.

Ghosts, Ghouls, and Giving Birth with Brittany Cartwright

Ghosts, Ghouls, and Giving Birth with Brittany Cartwright

This week Katie sits down with her friend and Kentucky beauty, Brittany Cartwright. The ladies are keeping the Halloween spirit alive with this week’s episode. Brittany talks about what it was like growing up in a haunted house, and why she absolutely believes in ghosts (after hearing her stories, we definitely believe in them too). They agree that as they get older, they’re becoming scared of more and more things, and try to figure out why they think that is. Katie asks what the biggest misconception people have of Brittany is, and why she thinks it is that people feel that way. Brittany opens up and shares what it was like to be judged so harshly throughout her pregnancy, the most surprising part of motherhood, and the aftermath of giving birth. They debate who Cruz looks like, the adorable things he’s doing now, and where Brittany’s dream home location would be. Last up, Brittany shares an all too relatable rage text to anyone who has ever driven in the city of Los Angeles. If you’re not ready to let the spooky season go just yet, you’re going to love this episode!!

This story will make the hair on you body stand up straight!  Next Katie talks to Melissa Ziese. Her story is unlike any story because not only does it involve a cemetery, actual apparitions, and vivid dreams it also involves a painful memory. This story will stick with you undoubtedly. And finally Katie talks to Rachael Farnaby. Rachael’s story is a chilling story that mimics that of a horror film. That laying in bed, dark shadow, paralyzed in fear kind of terror. She experienced something truly haunting  that will leave you with chills. If you are a ghost story, paranormal fanatic you are absolutely going to love this episode!

Love it but the ads…

Love Katie, I want to give this 5 stars but all the Ads are too much. The episodes are short as it is but with all the adds it almost cuts the time in half. I get it you need to have ads to make $$ but what about doing 2/3 less per episode??? I wanna hear more Katie’s and less ads!

Let Brittney have her opinions

Love listening, you’ve always been one of my fav VO cast mates but the episode with Brittney when she was speaking about being shocked there are multiple milk ducts in the nipple and being kind when driving in LA seemed you were kind of pointing out that she was not as smart as you not knowing or being naive. Maybe try to listen to the others opinions more openly with out pointing out you knew otherwise etc.
