Great Pace and Commentary
I happened upon this podcast when I was looking up a few stories about the 90s. I love the jokes, descriptiveness, and elocution of the writers. Sarah and Michael are top notch. They would be people I could find myself being friends with in college and hanging out over coffee and beyond. Great job you two and keep it up!
Was funny at first
This podcast actually sets the story straight sans the social media hyperbole. However, I am still trying to determine if Sarah’s role is sidekick humor pr she only knows metaphoric language. EVERY example she gives a “like this” descriptive cute/funny example. Some are funny, but she OVER uses it. After awhile, her voice is like a slow fog horn. Sorry- really liked the content otherwise.

To give this show a fair shake. Been listening for about 2 months now. The host appears periodically on other pods I listen too. However the host barely holds my attention on her own here. An the general vibe is less informative and more just “here’s my version of this story…” the arrogance and girl boss attitude is ultimately what turned me away from this show. It feels like I’m listening to my ex wife complain about things while still getting them wrong. No thanks.
The show should be called “I’m wrong about” since the guests are who have the information we’re receiving a majority of the episodes. I’d rather just hear from them, an have the host take a lap an be silent while others talk about the topic they’ve been brought on to discuss.
1/5 there are way better and more informative media and news pods.
