Insightful and humorous

Absolutely love hearing all the finer details in the industry, it helped me appreciate my favorite artist and their work even more!

I’m completely hooked, been binging a like 3 episodes at work every day.

There were so many moments that I enjoyed from this week’s episode. Great job as usual, Texx! But my favourite would have to be Shekhinah’s discussion about women in the music industry and the lack of female sound engineers. I relate heavily to this as I am a female engineer in the artificial intelligence and software industry. With music being my passion as well, I am elated to hear more about the great work Shekhinah is doing to promote positive representation and awareness in this space! Thank you for the inspiration and motivation.

Text Talks is right down my alley, providing the real get-down on what’s happening in the minds of South Africa’s most interesting musicians. The level of personal level journalism takes me back to the days of Rolling Stone and NME magazines, but with the flavour of a scene that I know and love as a proud South African.

It’s great to have this content showcasing great music, and packaged so well.
