Canadian pop rock duo Neon Dreams have adopted South Africa as their second home, spending a large part of the last three years in the country writing, recording and performing. Lead singer Frank Kadillac opens up to Texx about just what it is that makes SA so special ahead of their debut set at Johnnie Walker Rocking The Daisies, that's been postponed to November. 

Ahead of his debut set at Johnnie Walker Rocking The Daisies, South African pop singer-songwriter Lloyiso sits down with Texx for his very first podcast interview to chat what goes into planning a major festival set and his bromance with world-renowned Dutch DJ and producer, Martin Garrix, as they drop their collab single "Real Love" today!

Ahead of her set at Johnnie Walker Rocking The Daisies, South African hip-hop producer and engineer Kay Faith, chats to Texx about what playing her fourth back-to-back festival means to her. Zimbabwean rapper, Hanna, also stops by to talk about how her Daisies 2022 experience was quite simply - lifechanging.

Developed as part of the Music In Africa Live program, which is supported by the German Federal Foreign Office, Siemens Stiftung, and Goethe-Institute, the Raise The Bar Programme seeks to bolster the presence of women in other aspects of the music industry, as well as equip them with the skillset necessary for survival in an otherwise impenetrable industry.
