She is also an established confidence and self-love workshop leader, social impact consultant and keynote speaker. In 2019, she received the Inspiring Female Entrepreneur Award and was named the Greatest of the Great Lakes Bay Life Coach. Lisa has a Bachelors in Arts in Communications and Public Relations from Michigan State University, is certified in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania and is certified in Positive Psychology and Creating Wellbeing. Thompson has more than seven years of experience in corporate communications and has been freelancing for more than five years. She has held positions on boards such as the chair of the Great Lakes Bay Mental Health Partnership's Youth Committee, and the Public Relations lead for two non-profits called Mid-Michigan Eating Disorder Recovery Alliance and Reach Out LaFond. Thompson also holds other titles such as dog mom, aunt, sister, daughter and friend that have helped shape who she is. Thompson's vision is to create a world where everyone is empowered to love themselves and achieve anything that they desire.

Rebecca and Lisa chat on how to manage your Eating Disorders during this time, advice, and how you can help those around during this time as well. It is all about just putting one foot in front of the other and taking that first right step.

    Rebecca has a Masters in professional counseling from Central Michigan University. Though she has helped clients through a variety of challenges in her practice as a therapist since 2005, she specializes in helping people work on improving their body image and overcoming eating disorders. Her expertise in this area comes from a variety of perspectives: she is a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, a Health At Every Size (HAES) practitioner, and has served as a national health presenter for Cigna Health. Additionally, Rebecca is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist.
