Adela - How International workcamps built her European identity (Czeck Republic, Germany, Poland‪)‬ Le Podcast à l'International

    • Gesellschaft und Kultur

In this episode, I interview Adela from the Czech Republic in an international workcamp in Germany. She explains what is an international workcamp, how it is working, and how to participate. If you like languages, traveling at a cheap cost, meeting a bunch of new people, while providing voluntary work (which is great for your cv), you will find the answers in this episode. She also explains what she is doing in Germany, why this workcamp means a lot to her, in particular the notion of Peace and the communist history of her country...
In these very special times of a global pandemic, I am collecting testimonies of our globalized time and the influence of the international on everyone: whether it is a benefit, the loss of our roots, or interdependence which may be harmful both to humans and the environment, we are all interconnected, globalized. Good or bad? Thanks to this podcast, I wish to observe how we live the international in our daily life through a series of interviews conducted in French and in other languages. I hope to give you a reflection on our world and our times because it is impossible to deny the impact that globalization has on us; whether you are multilingual or have never been abroad, you cannot escape: just look at the phone or computer on which you are reading this text ...Therefore, I wish to give you the desire to question with me our world through these discussions.
Now: Good listening!
