    The Wrong Colours: Episode 401

    The Wrong Colours: Episode 401

This week, we head to the South-West of England for a shocking story involving the mysterious world of outlaw motorcycle clubs.
There is a famous line about the Hells Angels motorcycle club – if you have to ask how to join the Hells Angels, you probably won’t understand the answer and membership probably isn’t for you.
The episode this week shows the strong ties of the members of these clubs, but on this occasion, a normal evening escalated to such an extent that an innocent man was left dead at the roadside.

    A Loving Family: Episode 400

The episode this week is from South Wales.Fiona Scourfield lived on a farm with her partner, step-son, dog Bruno and 32 other animals all of whom Fiona adored. She loved animals and worked hard for charities supporting animal welfare, especially dogs. But Fiona would be tragically murdered at just 54 by someone she had only ever shown love and affection. Shockingly, it was a member of her own family. This week, I look at just what happened to Fiona.Writing Credit:Chris WoodYou can buy Chris's second book, 'Death in the Theatre' here: https://www.amazon.com/Death-Theatre-Chris-Wood/dp/1399009117Find out more about the UK True Crime Podcast:https://uktruecrime.comSupport me at Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/UKTrueCrimeJoin me in Sheffield on 7 Septemberhttps://armchairdetectiveswanted.com/eventsJoin the UK True Crime Facebook Group:https://www.facebook.com/groups/UKTrueCrimeBuy my book 'Gone Fishing' about serial killer Angus Sinclair:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gone-Fishing-Unsolved-Crimes-Sinclair/dp/1914277201

    The Dice Man: Episode 399

    The Dice Man: Episode 399

Somebody was writing to Flight Attendants at Gatwick Airport. Horrible, threatening notes asking for pornographic pictures and threatening violence if the demands weren't met, based on the throw of a dice. "There are six forfeits ranging from minor to very painful... Number six is an attack with an acid bomb, although there are lots of nasty things from number three onwards." A Brutally Violent Attack: Episode 398

A Brutally Violent Attack: Episode 398

On this podcast I usually try to avoid the worst violence as I focus on the story. But there are some cases like this one from the north-east of England where Mark Shaw was so brutally attacked that the details of the violence are necessary to the story. Mark was killed by those close to him leaving his friends and family shocked and unable to quite comprehend just what had happened to Mark.Find out more about the UK True Crime Podcast:https://uktruecrime.comJoin me at Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/UKTrueCrimeJoin me in Sheffield on 7 Septemberhttps://armchairdetectiveswanted.com/eventsJoin the UK True Crime Facebook Group:https://www.facebook.com/groups/UKTrueCrimeBuy my book 'Gone Fishing' about serial killer Angus Sinclair:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gone-Fishing-Unsolved-Crimes-Sinclair/dp/1914277201

    The Reconstruction: Episode 397

    The Reconstruction: Episode 397

It was a bright winters day in Sheffield at about 4pm as two friends were walking to return a drill bit to a tool factory. As the walked, they saw something just off the pavement in the hedges – it hadn’t been covered up and was easily spotted.  It was a three foot holdall. The two men who found it carried it down the road, thinking it contained something valuable like an engine; it was certainly big enough. The bag was covered by a bedding sheet tied with rope and the body was wrapped in polythene. They undid the rope, unzipped the bag, peeled open the polythene and got the shock of their lives. They had found a badly decomposed body - a body that was soon confirmed to be that of a man who had been murdered a number of years before.Just who had dumped the body in this area where it would easily be found. And who had killed him - and why? Please support my sponsor - NordVPNGet your exclusive NordVPN deal here → https://nordvpn.com/uktruecrimeIt’s risk-free with Nord’s 30-day money-back guarantee!Find out more about the UK True Crime Podcast:https://uktruecrime.comJoin me at Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/UKTrueCrimeJoin me in Sheffield on 7 Septemberhttps://armchairdetectiveswanted.com/eventsJoin the UK True Crime Facebook Group:https://www.facebook.com/groups/UKTrueCrimeBuy my book 'Gone Fishing' about serial killer Angus Sinclair:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gone-Fishing-Unsolved-Crimes-Sinclair/dp/1914277201Sources:http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/615460.stmBBC News | UK | 'Fascinating puzzle' of Mr Xhttps://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/in-25-years-crimewatch-snares-57-398587http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/1190207.stm#:~:text=Police%20believe%20Mr%20Ali%20was,house%20and%20move%20to%20Sheffield.http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/1190207.stmBBC NEWS | UK | England | South Yorkshire | Body in bag killer loses appeal

Interesting crime stories

I like the fact that there are lesser known cases included in this podcast and the creator/narrator had a great sense of humour. Great recent interview with Neil Lancaster!
