I grew up being told that credit cards were the enemy and never to get one. Tori taught me that money is power and that it’s important to give myself options to have control over my own life. I’ve made so many of my friends this pod and I’ve been inspired to run my own business and get really clear on my ethics, values, and purpose. This isn’t just a finance show, this pod will make you a better person.

I was excited to listen to this podcast as I think the more information folks have about finances, the better. However, apart from telling listeners to get a high rate savings account and open a retirement account, there isn’t any actual advice or education on investing beyond that. I understand that she might not want to advise on actual stocks (although, many do and she advises on which savings account to get), but I would love to hear how to figure out which index funds or stocks to add to my portfolio (so that I can do it myself as she encourages), but none of that is shared. You’d think for the amount of ads in it, she’d be able to afford to offer free guidance rather than promote a paid pre-recorded course. Overall, I found it too high level and too salesy.

While I’m luckily (albeit purposely) in the boat of someone with my finances in order with rainy day funds and investments, there is still so much I gain from listening. Sometimes it’s good to hear the fundamentals again to reset. Other times there are a variety of guests with different topics to learn from. And sometimes you just want to rage at the patriarchy 🤷‍♀️. Give it a listen and you’ll be glad you did.

Tori addresses a broad range of issues that all impact financial wellbeing. She is frank about the possibility and freedom that come with being in a strong financial position and embodies this herself. I appreciate that she is true to herself and not afraid to call out injustices; this is freedom.
