Gall Bladder & Menopause Gut Health (feat. Coach Hannah) | MMP Ep.23 The Metabolism and Menopause Podcast

    • Health & Fitness

I had the pleasure of having our on-staff gut health expert on our podcast today: Coach Hannah!

We wanted to talk about the gallbladder because—shockingly—so many women have issues with their gallbladder once they hit perimenopause AND many women have had it removed.

Additionally, when our gallbladder isn't working properly (or is absent) it can cause so many issues like constipation or diarrhea, nutritional malabsorption, bloating, and, of course, weight loss resistance.

We cover:

Misinformation and fear-mongering around dietary fat
What the heck even is a gallbladder?
The importance of dietary fats and the gallbladder for overall health and, specifically, a healthy digestive system
What to do if you don't have a gallbladder
And most importantly, how to support a healthy gallbladder
