44 | Offering support to our community
Wow, how serendipitous that this episode is 44, a number I find lucky and optimistic and a sign from the universe.
In this episode I discuss my most recent nudge from the universe, which actually impacts all of you here in The Breathing Space community because it is the beginning of a new scholarship.
I will be offering a monthly scholarship for a 1:1 session with me each month. It is a free/pay what you can offering for one individual. If you would like to receive this session, simply become a subscriber of my substack and reply to one of the emails with “SCHOLARSHIP” somewhere in your message and I’ll add you to the wait list of recipients.

We’re back! After a hiatus following the 30 Days of Breath - which were awesome and you can check it out here - I’m back on the pod.
In today’s episode I talk about accessing the energy of the different elements (earth, air, fire, water) to deepen your understanding of yourself and reconnect with what’s showing up for you. I focus particularly on the fire energy and using it for growth and discipline.Some of the things I discuss are:

All the things we truly want in life are free - because they’re feelings and not actual things. How we go about meeting our needs so that we FEEL how we want to feel, well that might cost us - either in time, money, energy or other resources.
In this episode I talk about the benefits of showing up for yourself and of having structure. I also discuss how finding whatever it is that you are searching for, is a result of staying connected to yourself - and the best tool to do that, is breathwork!

41 | Why focusing on weight loss isn't helping you love yourself
Often we think losing weight will give us something, will help us feel happy, proud, beautiful etc. In this episode I talk about my experience gaining around 40lbs in less than 2 years and how I managed to continue to love and accept myself and my body.
This isn’t about health. It’s about treating your body in a loving and nurturing way where you listen to its feedback and needs, especially when it comes to our feelings. Because if you’re trying to lose weight, or have lost and gained the same weight over and over again, or are stuck in a binge-restrict cycle, this episode will tell you what’s really going on and how to break free.
