This show brings me joy. There's a great cast of interesting... well, I hesitate to say "heroes," but really, that's the best kind of cast. What's even better is that these interesting characters have players who go all in, and their passion for this project combined with DM Quinn's capable guidance carries this show to fun and fascinating places. From battling dragons to hiding in wells, Heroes Not Included delivers the entertainment. Give them a listen now!
A *ton* of Fun
TL;DR: Listen to HNI. You won't regret it.
I only started listening to HNI with episode 41, which is a wonderful place to start. You can jump into the story and not feel too lost and it only gets better from here!
The audio is well produced, and the music and SFX is extremely well placed, and only adds to listener immersion into the story.
The GM, Quinn, does a marvellous job at crafting a compelling story that you want to hear more about, and the players have a great vibe and camaraderie between them that makes you feel like you're right at the table. I am absolutely hooked on this show. I am absolutely hooked on this show. And with season 4 starting soon, I can't wait to see what's in store for the characters and their story. <3
Bonus points: HNI has a diverse and inclusive cast and the folks behind this show are absolutely delightful humans.
