Excellent podcast for people dealing with anxiety, and for people who are helping others through anxiety. Very informative and helpful to provide insight into so many different topics on this. A great listen, thank you so much!

I listened to over 3 minutes of episode 305 and it felt like an endless repetition of a single sentence, without getting to the point.
Panic disorder, agoraphobia

As soon as I found out my father (my only parent) was going to die in a short while from end stage metastatic liver cancer, my whole world fell apart. I started having panic attacks which quickly went from weekly to daily to multiple times daily. They happened at work to start, then out for lunch with a friend, then while driving. Now I realize that I’m avoiding everything to avoid having a panic attack. It’s clear how quickly and silently this disorder can take over. I want my life back. I ordered the book, I’m taking my meds, I’m going to the places that scare me, I’m taking my life back. My family, my coworkers, my friends and I deserve that. Thank you for your guidance.
This is what is needed

Thank you Drew for sharing your battle and now helping people find their path to get out of the endless wormhole that can be panic/anxiety disorder. Keeping the podcasts short allows only the relevant points of that show to be talked about and makes it easy to go back and listen again (and again and again) if needed. I’m personally at the beginning of my journey to get myself back to an active, fun and engaged member of society after allowing my disorder control my life for over 25 years. This podcast is exactly what I needed to bridge the gap I was missing with meds and council long and will help steer me in the right direction. I’ve recommended it to not only people who I know that suffer as I do but also to individuals on the other side that have someone close to them who suffers with a disorder so they can hear first hand how it can overtake someone’s life, this podcast will hopefully allow them more insight and ability to support and cheer their loved one on in the process. Five stars all day long!
