Great combination of facts and feelings!

Love how the episodes cleverly weave the data into the storytelling, so many great takeaways! Thanks to the host and team for sharing what would otherwise only be available to a relatively small number of university students.

Somewhat simplistic

The message here seems to be, Get a different personality, stupid. The introvert/extrovert episode was maddening. Not a mention of the practicalities of what many introverts find, namely that social situations provide feedback, and it turns out to be despairingly not good feedback, and so the understandable “so much for trying to be more extroverted.” How did all those moments make you happy in being more extroverted? Apparently they should have. Studies showed this after all. Plus Dr. Laurie Santos hasn’t figured out how to read a script without a sing songy, emphasis in all THE wrong PLACES delivery. Like she came to the end of a line and discovered there’s another line of script. For 30 minutes it’s like this. Kind of unlistenable.

All

Should be required content for all couples or anyone in a relationship. Sometimes the advice is pretty elementary but it’s bang on. My amazing wife and I have been married over 30 years so I speak from experience.

One minor quibble - has anyone ever commented on how the host enunciates? I find it annoying that she pronounces “important” with only one’t’. It’s imporTant not imporant. There, I feel better. Thanks for the catharsis.
