I was skeptical in the first episode. Wasn’t sure if this one was going to be worth my time. Gave you guys an even chance and finished the first episode. Have since binged the series and am just starting chapter ten. Amazing story. Enough surprises to keep me guessing no matter how sure I am I know where things are going. Funny enough to keep me entertained and disarm my adrenaline responses to the story. Amazing work gentlemen. No matter what negative reviews you do get (not many I bet) just remember the golden rule of table top gaming. If the game is fun the rules and opinions of others don’t matter. Keep it up! Keep the terror coming. Be as dedicated as dan as honourable as jack and as straight forward as Roy. Keep your screen door hung straight!
Compelling and Binge Worthy
As a rookie Keeper, I was looking for a podcast to listen to for inspiration and affirmation of gameplay rules. Listening to this series from the beginning is a true delight because their evolution mirrors what many role players go through: starting with a modest understanding of rules and slowly gaining confidence. In the case of LT, this holds true with the added bonus of the creation of highly personable storytelling and likeable characters. While it may not have the polish of other Cthulhu podcasts, which often embellish the recording, this is to the benefit of this particular program as it maintains verisimilitude.
Well worth your time.
I stumbled upon this podcast while looking for something to fill the gap between sessions of my own group. I must have rolled a major suc...cess on luck to have found this first because it’s a perfect Cthulhu horror /comedy podcast. This is the first pod cast I have ever listened to and I have to say the cast is fantastic, balancing jokes with seriousness, and the DM is so good I find myself jealous that I can’t roll a character and dive into his world. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone who loves tabletop gaming or Cthulhu it’s fully worth your time. I binge listened the entire series and found myself super sad having to now wait week to week for new content.
