Weekly Roundup: Trump on the Hill, older voters in Florida

Donald Trump returned to Capitol Hill for the first time since his supporters disrupted the peaceful transfer of power on Jan. 6, 2021. The event was a clear demonstration of how the party has coalesced entirely behind him.

Excellent political podcast!

A must listen. They give great insight, they are credible as they are not Fox, and not MSNBC. Keep up the good work guys!

Easy-to-Listen to, but Professional

A variety off hosts bring forth relevant political commentary that adresses the questions of listeners. As an international listener, I am always keen to listen to the podcast to keep up to date on everything to do with American politics. One issue that I sometimes have is that the commentary occasionally skews towards the left, specifically on issues of abortion and free speech.

The ONLY pluralistic democracy in the world?

Really that was a bit much.
And your show’s mission is a more informed American public, you say?

The pervasive belief in American exceptionalism coupled with and probably supported by an almost complete lack of knowledge of the rest of the world you inhabit is what’s truly exceptional. Stunning even. I doubt any of the world’s many other democracies or pluralistic societies think of themselves as singular. And few are looking to the US for tips on how to be better at either nowadays.
Indeed, we foreigners are listening in to try to figure out how US politics got so screwy.

It’s a pretty good show usually, stories are concise.
